Good to know

• Planet sizes are enlarged and distances squeezed so everything fits on one screen - the scale rings (Advanced) show true distances.
• Orbits come from the Minor Planet Center and NASA JPL, refreshed daily; planets from the VSOP87 theory; space weather live from NOAA.
• Earth’s clouds near today are real: NOAA’s hourly global mosaic of GOES, Himawari and Meteosat weather-satellite images. Further out in time they’re illustrations.
• Hurricanes and tropical storms, and their five-day forecast tracks, come from NOAA’s National Hurricane Center (Atlantic, eastern and central Pacific).
• Your location, if you share it, never leaves this device.
